BIO // Claude Riou
I am originally from Brittany, this Celtic country of legends where art, the sea and picturesque landscapes have always been married.
I have often been accompanied by my camera during my many travels around the world.
From Asia to America, from Canada to Cape Horn, I have met other cultures and other peoples.
I have always used photography to bear witness, share and show the world as I felt it.
My favorite themes were first landscapes, then encounters.
Then my Breton origins oriented me towards the sea and related themes (boats, water, etc.)
My photos have in common the details and the close-ups. I voluntarily eliminate the superfluous, the useless, to concentrate only on the desired subject, and by bringing a dose of humanity to it.
My greatest reward: the emotion that you feel.
